Chris graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City as an electrical engineer in 2000, but is really a Kansas Jayhawk at heart since he did attend some classes at KU.

He works for Eaton Cutler-Hammer in Lenexa. He loves to trade in the stock market but also plays the lottery, too…One day maybe one of the two will really pay off!

Mindy graduated from the University of Kansas in advertising in 1995 and got her MBA from Keller University in 2000. Until recently, she spent almost 9 years as a buyer for a company that imports and distributes toys and novelties. She is looking for a job and excited about returning to the career she loves.

We met in January 1999. Our first date was on the Country Club Plaza which was also the place we got engaged in July 2001. In June 2002, we were married in Las Vegas with about 100 friends and family in attendance - as well as the best Elvis impersonator ever!

Chris is proud to be a Shriner. The Shrine is best-known for its colorful parades, its distinctive red fez, and its official philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children - specialized hospitals where children receive excellent medical care absolutely free of charge. Chris is in the Blue Racer unit and drives a go-kart in parades all around Kansas City and is currently their President. Mindy is the President of the Blue Racer Ladies this year, too. We both really enjoy the friendships and the volunteer opportunities which come from being a Shriner.
